Your Questions Answered

What is eQuoo?

eQuoo is a cutting-edge gamified mobile mental health solution that blends psychoeducation and evidence-based techniques to promote emotional wellbeing and resilience.

How will you use player data?

All personal data is anonymised and is not shared with any 3rd parties. As a business, we strictly adhere to all GDPR legislation and take the protection of personal information very seriously.

How do you communicate with players?

We communicate with our players through email and in-app push notifications. We also run webinars from time to time. If a player wishes to opt out of any communications they can do so at any time.

What can I do to encourage the use of eQuoo?

To get the most out of eQuoo, we recommend playing a minimum of 30 minutes a week. We recommend talking openly about the app, and encouraging them to play a chapter when they find themselves with some free time.

What steps are in place to monitor usage?

We understand that screen time can be a concern. eQuoo is designed in such a way that the game cannot be over-played. After playing 3 chapters, the game will trigger a 24 hour time lock. This allows the player adequate time to practice the skills learnt before their next eQuoo session.

Are there any additional costs associated with eQuoo?

There are no additional costs associated with eQuoo. The cost of the app has been covered by the educational provider and is free of charge to the students.

How often should eQuoo be used?

We recommend playing eQuoo for a minimum of 30 minutes a week for a minimum time period of 5 weeks. This will allow the student time to absorb and apply the new skills they have learned.

Can eQuoo be used alongside other forms of therapy?

Yes. eQuoo can be used alongside other therapies the player may be receiving. We also provide links to additional resources within our clinical chatbots if the player would like to access further support.
